Deputy President-elect William Ruto joined other leaders at Lee Funeral Home as the body of the late Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru arrived.
Gakuru died on Tuesday morning after a nasty accident at Kabati near Kenol along the Thika- Murang'a road.

Embu Governor Martin Wambora, Kiambu’s Ferdinand Waititu, Murang'a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria, Nairobi Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen were also the Morgue.
Others included National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale, Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia, ICT's Joe Mucheru among other leaders.
